You will find broken links and missing links all over the place at the moment, I have had to give Frontpage the flick as a program because it could not handle more than one website without them fouling each other up. I am now using and learning Dreamweaver to bring our CD closer to completion so please bear with me. Pages will be changed and added. I will email as significant changes are made.

FRIDAY 28TH MAY 2004 IN BALLINA.    I accessed the archives at the high school and boy have I got some brilliant stuff for the CD.

BUT WE ARE MISSING MANY PEOPLE, STORIES AND PICS.

Results from this day will be posted asap but hope to add more stories and pics.

This is where your input becomes imperative. I have a lot of blanks in lives and our yearbook/historical CD is full of blanks at this stage.

A+ to all the respondees. To those who have yet to respond, due to my commitments you have been granted an extension but please respond today.

Personally I had a brilliant day, visiting old haunts and having a nice lunch with a small group at McGinty's. Thanks to Beth and Janeen for popping into the archives to make our day more interesting.

BALLINA HIGH SCHOOL Year 12 - 1978, Yr11-1977 etc

Today, kids get a yearbook when they leave school with photos and comments to keep. At the rate most of us have kept our photos we could not have found it now anyway.

However, we were and still are, a group of special people and we deserve a CD celebrating our 25 year reunion and our times at High School. So this is my intermittent labour of love - to not only give us the yearbook we never had but to sneak a peak into our current lives and maybe keep the circle alive so that anyone who wishes to find another member only has to ask.

The CD is available free if you attended the reunion (your extra $5 paid for that).

What about the Reunion?

The reunion was held on Saturday 4th October 2003 at Ballina RSL Club. We had a terrific time but my only complaint was the night was not long enough to really catch up.

Reunion Acknowledgement: Without the tireless work of Annie Doak there would not have been a reunion last year. I know she will have her own acknowledgements starting with Sharne Pidcock but Annie was always the hub around which all of us worked on our tasks. So thanks Annie, you breathed life into a project that because of technology has a chance to continue life on it's own. That we can all catch up with old friends and know that out there in the internet ether, we have a force that is on our side.
